The City of Bellevue is seeking an experienced Assistant Director to join our Human Resources (HR) department’s Management Team. This is one of three Assistant Directors to partner and collaborate with the HR Director on work and capacity planning, team and HR Department culture building, and leading division and team initiatives.   

The Assistant Director, Human Resources will oversee and manage a team of HR professionals on various components of the City of Bellevue’s total rewards program, for the city’s 13 departments and a workforce of over 1600 employees. The rewards program includes health care benefits, employee assistance program, retirement plans, leave management policies and administration, HR information systems, data analysis and metrics reporting, regulatory compliance, leading continuous process improvements for HR operations, and employee communication and education to help employees understand and make the most of their benefits.?
