The city of Bellevue Transportation Department is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and team-oriented transportation analyst to join our dynamic modeling team within the Transportation Planning Division. The position can be filled either at entry or senior level depending on experience and qualifications.
 
As *Senior Transportation System Analyst*, you will be responsible for professional planning and transportation system analyses, including travel demand modeling, traffic simulation modeling, system capacity analysis, statistical data analysis, computer programming, and geographic information system applications. This analysis work is key to supporting ongoing transportation system monitoring, evaluation of land development and transportation projects and programs, and long-range transportation system planning and development.
 
The city of Bellevue has a long standing interlocal agreement with the cities of Kirkland and Redmond to jointly develop and maintain Bellevue-Kirkland-Redmond (BKR) Model.
