*City of Kenmore Launches Solarize Kenmore for Second Year
**"A program to empower residents with clean, renewable energy – now with added $1,000 rebate
"*The City of Kenmore is excited to announce the second campaign of Solarize Kenmore [ http://solarizekenmore.org/ ], available now through July 4, 2025. This program helps Kenmore residents install solar panels on their homes and businesses. Residents can reserve a free solar assessment through the program website at SolarizeKenmore.org [ http://www.solarizekenmore.org/ ]. New this year, Kenmore residents can receive a $1,000 rebate from the City to assist with solar installation costs (limited to the first 40 contracts). **80th Avenue NE Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvement Project Open House March 19*
*You're invited to an in-person Open House [ https://www.kenmorewa.gov/Home/Components/Calendar/Event/2713/102 ] for the 80th Avenue Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvement Project on Wednesday, March 19, from 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Kenmore City Hall. 

Planning is underway for the 80th Avenue Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvement Project, which aims to improve pedestrian and bicycle facilities in the 80th Avenue NE corridor. This project will also provide traffic calming to accommodate a reduced speed limit of 30 MPH, provide safe pedestrian crossings across 80th Avenue NE at existing school bus stops, enhance street lighting, and improve bicycle access to the Burke Gilman Trail. *Celebrate Youth Art Month in Kenmore!*
Recently the City Council proclaimed March as Youth Art Month [ https://kenmore.civicweb.net/document/261184 ] in Kenmore! Youth Art Month celebrates our local youth artists and the value of art in education. The proclamation encourages community members to support local art programs and recognize the significant role of art in student development.

To celebrate, there is a display of Youth Art at the Northshore School District Administration Building that will be showcased through the end of the month, and a reception on March 31 from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.  Check it out [ https://artsofkenmore.com/wheres-the-art-march-2025/ ] to view artworks from Kenmore Middle School and Inglemoor High School students.
