Bellevue collaborates with other governments to achieve shared goals, such as increasing affordable housing, expanding infrastructure to support growth, and protecting the environment.

Bellevue’s Intergovernmental staff team supports City Council and city leadership to partner with cities, King County, the Washington State Legislature, Congress, federal agencies, and other key stakeholders.

We are seeking* *two (2) individuals to join our team as* Intergovernmental Policy Advisors*. Through strategic planning and relationship-building, you will help City Council and city leadership advocate for Bellevue’s priorities.

*Position 1* – This Intergovernmental Policy Advisor will support City Council, the City Manager, and the Utilities Department on intergovernmental issues related to utilities and built infrastructure, including drinking water, wastewater, storm and surface water, and solid waste.

*Po**sition 2 (Limited Term)* – This Intergovernmental Policy Advisor will support City Council, the City Manager, and the Department of Community Development on intergovernmental issues related to housing, growth, affordable housing, neighborhood issues, environmental sustainability, economic development, and land use.

* This is a Limited Term (LTE) position through December 2025.
