The City of Bellevue is currently seeking a Recreation Program Technician for the Northwest Arts Center (NWAC).  This is a generalist position that will provide administrative, program and special event support to recreation staff with an emphasis on marketing, program facilitation and event coordination. Programs will include young children, teens, all-age adults, and families. The position will require a ‘self-starter’ with strong communication and community/public relation skills.

Hours may vary between 15 – 25 per week matching program needs with a combination of day, evening, and weekend work.   Schedule will be discussed and determined at time of hire.  
 
Positions in this classification provide clerical and program support to recreation/community programs or program facilities. The incumbent provides direct one-on-one and group assistance to a diverse group of people and organizations sponsoring programs or desiring to use the facilities. The Recreation Program Technician maintains attendance records, participant forms, and other statistical information necessary for reporting and funding programs; assists instructors during programs by aiding program participants; prepares facility for specific activities and cleans up after programs.
