City Council to Adopt Bellevue 2044 Comprehensive Plan Update

On Tuesday, October 22 City Council will take action on the Periodic Update to the Comprehensive Plan.

This final step brings to a close over two years of community engagement, technical analysis, and review of major updates to the city's Comprehensive Plan. Some of the significant updates include new policies to:


* Support middle-scale housing throughout the city.
* Significantly reduce carbon emissions.
* Advance equitable engagement.

The planning team thanks every community member who participated in the process. Public participation and feedback was vital and contributed to an update that reflects the values and vision of the many diverse communities that make up Bellevue.
