Notice is hereby given that the two public hearings from the Monday, October 9, 2023 Kenmore City Council Meeting have been continued for _written public testimony_ until 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 15, 2023.


* Public Hearing #1 – Proposed Ordinance No. 23-0593 provides added protections for exceptional trees. The proposed ordinance defines what trees are exceptional, allows for certain situations when exceptional trees can be removed and sets penalties for removal of an exceptional tree without a permissible exemption.
* Public Hearing #1 – Proposed Ordinance No. 23-0584 amends Kenmore Municipal Code (KMC) Sections 18.42.030 and 18.42.135 relating to unattended temporary signs and displays on City-owned property within the public/semi-public zone. The amendment would prohibit unattended temporary signs and displaces on City-owned property except for City-owned signs and City-owned displays for City business purposes.
