Rob Lloyd confirmed as the City of Seattle’s Chief Technology Officer

On September 3, 2024, the Seattle City Council officially appointed Rob Lloyd as the new chief technology officer for the City of Seattle.
Lloyd’s appointment by the full council completes a process that began on May 30, 2024, when Mayor Bruce Harrell announced Lloyd’s selection as interim CTO [ https://harrell.seattle.gov/2024/05/30/seattles-next-chief-technology-officer-mayor-harrell-appoints-accomplished-government-executive-and-it-leader-rob-lloyd/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ]. The City of Seattle’s annual digital equity grant application process opens next *Wednesday, October 16, 2024*, and will accept applications from non-profits that aim to close the digital divide and increase digital literacy in our community!
