A nationwide text scam is targeting toll road users. Victims are receiving text messages claiming they have an "unpaid toll bill" or "outstanding toll balance," urging them to click on a link to pay immediately. The link leads to fraudulent websites designed to steal personal and financial information.

Know What to Look For:

* Scam texts appear to come from toll agencies, but they are not.
* Texts often include a threat of fines, penalties, or vehicle impoundment if payment is not made quickly.
* The links in the texts direct recipients to fake payment portals.

How to Protect Yourself:

* Do not click on any link embedded in the texts.
* Verify your toll bills by visiting GoodToGo! directly via their website [ https://mygoodtogo.com/EN/ ].
* Report the suspicious texts to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center via their website [ http://www.ic3.gov ].

If you've provided personal or financial information via any of the links embedded in the text messages, contact your local law enforcement agency.
