The City Council Regular Meeting of Monday, January 8, 2024 has been CANCELED.

The City Council has called a Special Meeting for Tuesday, January 9, 2024 to start at 6:15 PM with Council photos and the Oaths of Office to start at 7:00 PM.

*To speak at a City Council Meeting, you are required to sign up ahead of time using the form on www.kenmorewa.gov/virtualpubliccomment [ https://www.kenmorewa.gov/virtualpubliccomment ]. The form opens Tuesdays at 12:00 noon and closes Mondays at 12:00 Noon. **However, this form will remain open until Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 12:00 Noon to accommodate the Tuesday Special Meeting. *

*Q:* What is the difference between a "Special" meeting and a "Regular "Meeting?

*A:* All meetings held at 7:00 PM on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Monday of the month are "regular." A meeting becomes special when it falls outside of the meeting schedule, either by date or time. Having a "special "meeting does not mean the topics discussed are "special."
