*Position Summary*
Public Health - Seattle & King County (PHSKC) is seeking a *Disability Equity and ADA Manager (Project/Program Manager III)* who will bring their lived experiences as well as their technical knowledge to provide subject matter expertise and policy guidance to the Office of Equity and Community Partnerships in the Director’s Office of Public Health – Seattle & King County. The position will support Public Health in furtherance of its commitment to providing equitable and accessible services in all of its programs and services by applying their knowledge of Title II of the ADA. The person in this position will lead a self-evaluation and transition plan of current services, policies and practices that do not or may not meet the requirements of Title II. The Disability Equity and ADA Manager will ensure that the needs of people living with disabilities are incorporated into the department’s work to reduce and eliminate racial/ethnic disparities, as well as disparities for people with disabilities.

As part of an extremely diverse group and office, this position will be able to advance practices and systems at the program, division and department level to advance disability and racial equity and ADA compliance.

*Work Schedule*
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 hours per week. This position is Exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
 
*Work Location*
The work for this position will be performed hybrid, predominantly via telecommuting, with occasional onsite work. The base for this position is the Chinook Building, located at 401 5th Ave, Seattle, WA, 98104.
 
Some of the work associated with this position will be performed through teleworking, and will report to office location and to meetings as needed. Travel to other work locations may be necessary. Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
 
Employees will be provided with a County issued laptop and must maintain a workspace with an internet connection where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours.  To support employees during this time King County has a robust collection of tools and resources to support working remotely.
