*King County Parks* is seeking an experienced *Administrative Specialist II* to join the *Community Investments and Engagement* team. In this role, will use your administrative skills to play a crucial role in enhancing our park system by connecting the people of King County to our parks and programs.

*About the Role:*
This position works closely with various stakeholders and staff to provide administrative, data management, technical support and communication duties supporting the operation of the Community Investments and Engagement section. This position supports purchasing for the section, ordering signs and promotional materials, coordinating bulk mailings, and supporting the team in a variety of administrative functions.

This position performs work remotely and onsite.

We engage with the public to solicit and incorporate their feedback into our work. We collaborate with community-based organizations to better support and develop our park system in a way that reflects the range of needs and experiences of the community members who utilize our parks.

Our system consists of more than 205 parks, 175 miles of regional trails, and 250 miles of backcountry trails. Our mission is to steward, enhance and acquire parks to inspire healthy communities.
