The Security Management Section with King County's Facilities Management Division (FMD) is looking to hire a Security Sergeant to focus on the ongoing security services training requirements and needs. The Security Management team provides physical building security, building access and control, operates an emergency dispatch center, and manages lost and found processes.? This position is responsible for developing and implementing a training program for security staff, managing certification and recertification requirements, training security staff, and implementing security programs, policies and procedures and ensuring that proper protocols are followed.

The exact reporting location for this position is subject to change based on business and operational needs.

This position will be assigned to first shift – Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

The purpose of this recruitment is to fill one current vacancy. ?We may also create an eligibility list of qualified applicants that will be used to select candidates based on their overall performance in the process.?

The selection procedures for this recruitment may include a phone interview, a written assessment, and final interview.
