The Fleet & Communications Division of the Finance & Asset Management Department is recruiting to fill a *_Lead Mechanical Services Technician position._* The position provides daily technical direction to Fleet mechanics and staff, coordinating customer repairs and the preventive maintenance and diagnosis and repair of the City's fleet of vehicles and equipment.  This position coordinates daily assignments for shop staff, provides support to Fleet customers and vendors, checks and audits work in progress, and assures assignments are completed in a timely and complete manner.  

This is a fulltime Teamster Local 763 Union position.  
 
*Schedule:* Currently the work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., however, candidates must be willing to work alternative shifts, weekends, and be on call during emergency operations.   body { font-size: 1em; font-family: Arial, Verdana, sans-serif; font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; color: #333333; }
