This position is for one of four Planning Manager positions in the land use division of Development Services leading a team of planners that reviews and processes a wide range of development applications with specific emphasis on compliance with the Land Use Code. This position collaborates with members of the management team representing multiple departments to align goals, objective, and work plans for the delivery of timely and high-quality services.
Duties of the Planning Manager include, but are not limited to, management oversight of development review mainly focused on single family Building Permits and quick turnaround applications and interpretation of complex code provisions, code and policy development, coaching and mentorship, and provision of excellent customer service.
