New Dog Park Coming Soon!
The Flume site (located on S Myrtle St), formerly owned by Seattle City Light (SCL), will now serve as an off-leash area (dog park) and a shared-use path for those walking, biking, and rolling between Georgetown and South Park.
The dog park project is expected to begin the process of contractor selection in the coming weeks, with construction expected to begin later this year at the Georgetown ‘Flume’ property! Our safety project will create an off-street, multi-use connection through the new park. To learn more about the park design, visit Seattle Parks and Recreation's webpage [ https://www.seattle.gov/parks?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ].
