3rd Ave S & S Main St Improvements Project Construction Updates

Construction updates: March 21, 2025

Construction on the 3rd Ave S & S Main St Improvements Project [ https://www.seattle.gov/transportation/projects-and-programs/programs/transit-program/3rd-ave-s-and-s-main-st-bus-stop?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ] is ongoing.  

We will not be doing any construction work on the 3rd Ave and Main project for this upcoming weekend (March 22-23). However, Astound, a private utility company, will be doing work on 3rd Ave S between S Washington St and Yesler Way. 

Next week (March 24-28), we will do the following work at the below locations: 


* 3rd Ave S between S Washington and S Main St
* Performing survey work on the street surface 

* 3rd Ave S & S Washington Intersection (Northwest Corner) 
* Sawcutting, demolition and repaving 

* 2nd Ave Ext & S Main St Intersection 
* Sawcutting, demolition, and repaving
