Are you an enthusiastic and talented lawyer looking for an exciting entry-level prosecutor position that will allow you to be in court on a regular basis? If so, consider applying to be the next *Assistant Prosecuting Attorney *for the City of Bellevue. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for criminal law, a desire to learn, a self-starter mentality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This position is responsible for the prosecution of all civil infractions for the City, as well as assisting in the prosecution of misdemeanor criminal charges. It requires frequent court appearances in Bellevue District Court. Strong verbal and written communication skills, a high level of organization, and superior interpersonal abilities are a must. The successful candidate will be able to work professionally and cooperatively with other members of the City Attorney’s Office, the Bellevue Police Department, the court, and the defense bar. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated self-awareness and cultural competence.
