You're Invited: Middle Housing Code Amendment Public Information Sessions

Learn more about upcoming changes to code to support more types of housing in Bellevue.

The City of Bellevue will be holding three public information sessions [ https://www.eventbrite.com/e/city-of-bellevue-middle-housing-code-information-session-tickets-1080923093069?aff=oddtdtcreator&utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ] to share information on the approach to implementing middle housing, which includes housing types between single family homes and midrise multifamily homes, and accessory dwelling units. There are three opportunities to attend an info session - two virtual sessions and one in-person session. 

*Information Session 1:*

Monday, Nov. 18 from 12 - 1:15 p.m.

*Information Session 2:*

Thursday, Dec. 5 from 6 - 7:15 p.m.

*Information Session 3:*

Monday, Dec. 9 from 6:30 - 7:45 p.m.

The events will also provide information on how this approach aligns with recent changes to state law that requires most cities to permit these housing types more broadly in residential areas. Staff will also be sharing information on potential areas in Bellevue that will see additional housing beyond the state's requirements. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback during the event and after.
