We are a non-profit volunteer organization based in Seattle. We produce and lend free reading CDs to visually impaired Japanese Americans and Japanese Americans living in the U.S., people undergoing medical treatment, and the elderly who have difficulty getting out and about. We are also involved in volunteer activities. For those of us who have lived abroad for a long time, it is a great joy and comfort to be able to pick up and read literature and literary works in our native languages. We have started our activities with the hope of bringing the joy of reading to those who, for various reasons, are unable to read these works through our readings. We hope that many of you will take advantage of our services.
