Bellevue is known as "A City in a Park," with a park system comprised of 2,700 acres of parks and open space.  Bellevue's Parks and Community Services Department has a unique opportunity for you as a *Grounds Maintenance Aid 2 *–* L**imited Term Employee (LTE)*. The Grounds Maintenance Program provides site management and support for Bellevue’s Community Parks and sports fields. We’re looking for an energetic candidate with the desire to grow and learn within our dynamic work group.  
 
The *Parks Grounds Maintenance Aid 2 – LTE* performs a variety of manual labor tasks in assistance to fully-trained personnel to repair, maintain, operate, and install basic city or park infrastructure systems and/or support events or activities. Work consists of routine and repetitive tasks, processes, and/or operations and will be performed cooperatively with other employees and completed in a manner that assures individual, coworker, and public safety in all weather and working conditions.
 
*DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:*
The Parks Grounds Maintenance Aide II – LTE (up to 20-24 months). It is preferable that the incumbent has previous landscape and/or natural area maintenance experience and possesses the ability to work independently in public park settings with minimal supervision.
