Hot spell forecast for region

The National Weather Service in Seattle has forecast a heat wave for Puget Sound Sunday, July 7, to Tuesday, July 9, with temperatures expected to be in the upper 80s and 90s through Tuesday. Other regional agencies have activated heat responses as well, including offering tips and information for staying cool, to ensure safety for all community members.
