11th Ave NE and 12th Ave NE Paving and Safety Project Updates

Hi neighbors,

We continue to work on 11th Ave NE between NE 43rd St and NE 50th St. Don’t forget that we have night and weekend work scheduled for this coming weekend. Read below for more details on this weekend’s work and what’s coming up in the next few weeks. Please note that work may be rescheduled based on weather conditions, crew staffing, and availability of materials.

*Upcoming Work*

*Weekend of Oct. 11-13*


* *Overnight on Friday Oct. 11*, we will begin demolition on 11th Ave NE and NE 45th St. Work will begin at 7 PM and end at 6 AM the following morning.
* On Saturday Oct. 12 we will pour sections of the street on NE 45th St. Work starts at 7 AM and ends at 3 PM.

*Week of Oct. 14*


* Continued work on curb ramps and electrical crossing improvements at the NW and SE corners of NE 45th St
* We will also work on curb ramp and sidewalk improvements at the SW and SE corners of NE 50th St
* *Overnight on Saturday Oct. 19*, we will begin paving on 11th Ave NE between NE 43rd St and NE 47th St
* Work will start at 8 PM and end at 6 AM the following morning
* Bus stops between NE 45th St and NE 47th St will be closed with detours for Metro routes 31, 32, 67, and 372 between 8 PM and 11 AM. * One travel lane will remain open for vehicles

*Week of Oct. 21 *


* Continued paving on 11th Ave NE between NE 43rd St and NE 50th St
* We will also begin paving the raised bike ramps in front of the bus stops on 11th Ave NE from NE 50th St to NE 61st St
* All bus stops from NE 45th St to NE 61st St will be closed between 7 AM and 5 PM with detours for Metro routes 31, 32, 67, and 372.
