Tomorrow is the first day of Medina Days! The planning team has developed an outstanding lineup of fun activities designed to reconnect community members with each other and enjoy some food and festivities!
Since these events will be so much fun for everyone, we will certainly see a large increase in pedestrian, bicycle and vehicular traffic throughout the week. The Medina Police Department's priority is to keep everyone safe and keep the flow of traffic and parked vehicles reasonable and efficient.
NE 12th Street will be shut down in front of St. Thomas Church (8300 NE 12th Street) starting at approximately 4pm and will not be reopened until approximately 7pm to promote the safety of pedestrian traffic traveling between the events held at Medina Park and St. Thomas Church. Here is a rough layout of what the closure will look like:

Please stop by our tent at Concert in the Park tomorrow, Tuesday, August 8th and wave hello when you see us in the parade in the morning on Saturday, August 12th!
