*Vote Center at Kenmore City Hall

King County Elections will be hosting a vote center [ https://links-2.govdelivery.com/CL0/https:%2F%2Fkingcounty.gov%2Fen%2Fdept%2Felections%2Fhow-to-vote%2Fballots%2Freturn-my-ballot%2Fvote-centers/2/01010192bb440453-d079cf56-6fb2-4d9d-b3d9-6a71f915577c-000000/T1qgtjbMyjh3mXayxZAmVtzkcRCT_bOPVSAcjCA0jNU=376 ] at Kenmore City Hall on November 2, 4, and 5. King County vote centers are available to register new voters, update current voter records, obtain a voter registration card and to provide assistance to voters who need help completing their ballot. Trained staff and specialized equipment are available to help voters with disabilities cast a private, independent ballot.
Kenmore vote center hours of operation:
* November 2: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
* November 4: 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
* November 5: 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
You can also return your ballot to the drop box at Kenmore City Hall on the west side of building (68th Avenue). Only open during election cycles, your ballot must be returned to a ballot drop box by 8 p.m. on Election Day. Plan ahead to avoid lines [ https://kingcounty.gov/en/dept/elections ].

*Regional Fire Public Meeting October 28
*The Shoreline Fire Department and the Northshore Fire Department Regional Fire Authority Planning Committee are seeking public input on a Regional Fire Authority (RFA) measure proposed for a special election on February 11, 2025.
*Kenmore residents are invited to attend a public meeting [ https://shorelinefire.com/news/regional-fire-authority-ballot-measure/ ] and informational session hosted by the Shoreline and Northshore Fire Departments Regional Fire Authority (RFA) Planning Committee on Monday, October 28, at 6 p.m. at Station 51 *(7220 NE 181st Street)*.*
The session will focus on the proposed draft Regional Fire Authority Plan and will feature a presentation from Fire Chief Matt Cowan to provide an overview of the draft RFA Plan and outline the next steps in the process. The presentation will be followed by a public comment period session, where attendees can ask questions and share feedback. *Jack V. Crawford Day - Thank You Volunteers!
*Last weekend, 53 volunteers of all ages came together for Jack V. Crawford "Courtesy is Contagious" Day at Log Boom Park. Volunteers removed invasive plants, planted new native plants, picked up trash and microplastics from the beach front, spread mulch, and more. Thank you to everyone who came together to volunteer and celebrate the spirit of community in Kenmore - so much was accomplished!
