Dear Lake Sammamish resident and friend,

On June 12, 2025, the King County Flood Control District (District) launched a $1 million grant opportunity that can provide up to $100,000 in grant funding for your Lake Sammamish project! Grant funding is available to Lake Sammamish shoreline, single-family homeowners to reduce flood damages to Lake Sammamish docks and other shoreline structures, while providing erosion control and salmon habitat improvements.

The deadline to apply is *11:59pm on August 15, 2025*. Learn more about the program and how to apply at kingcounty.gov/lake-sammamish-grants [ https://kingcounty.gov/lake-sammamish-grants ].

King County, as service provider to the District, will host informational sessions to support lakeshore property owners to apply for this grant program.
