The Department of Community and Human Services, Behavioral Health and Recovery Division (BHRD) is leading several initiatives to provide access to relevant behavioral health services across King County.

 DCHS has an opening for a *Workforce Program Manager** - Project/Program Manager (PPM II)*. BHRD works to improve the quality of life in King County by ensuring that adults, youth, children, families, and communities receive the mental health and substance use disorder services that they need. BHRD's client-centered, coordinated system of service delivery is based on community assessment, measurable outcomes and systematic program evaluation that is accountable to our clients and their families, funding agencies and residents of King County.

Under the supervision of the BHRD *Behavioral Health Workforce Investments Manager *this *position *is responsible for coordination, implementation, and maintenance of behavioral health workforce development investment projects including contracting and contract monitoring. Working in a team environment, this position is responsible for collaboratively planning, implementing, maintaining, and reporting on BHRD workforce investments. While at times working independently, this position functions as part of a larger team of the Behavioral Health and Recovery Division working collaboratively to align and administer efforts supporting the development of a diverse and resilient clinical & peer network workforce.

*WORK SCHEDULE/CONDITIONS:* This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.

 

*MISSION CRITICAL POSITION STATUS:* This position has been designated Mission Critical. Unless otherwise directed by the County Executive, department director, or agency head, all employees, regardless of designation, are expected to report to work or request leave during an emergency or inclement weather. *TELEWORKING REQUIREMENT: *The work associated with this position will be performed through a combination of teleworking complemented with onsite work and meetings as needed. Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
  

Employees will be provided with a county-issued laptop and must maintain a workspace with an internet connection (access may be supplemented in some situations) where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours.
