Water Shutoff On 3rd Ave for Aug 23 - 25

We will NOT be working this upcoming weekend due to Revive I-5 Closures

Water shutoffs are planned for later this month. These shutoffs will impact the businesses above.

You can expect water shutoffs on the following dates:

*Friday, August 22-Saturday, August 23 *from *11pm to 7am*


* All buildings in yellow will be affected

*Sunday, August 24 *from *8am to 5pm (blue buildings affected)*


* 1917 3rd Ave
* 1935 3rd Ave
* 216 3rd Ave

*Monday, August 25 *from *10:30pm to 2am (orange buildings affected)*


* 316 Virginia St
* 1917 3rd Ave
* 316 Stewart St
SDOT will provide notice to impacted buildings five business days in advance of the planned shutoff.

 

*What's Happening?*

With construction currently underway, be aware that:


* Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) will replace the underground water main with a temporary one
* We will replace concrete panels on the road in sections
* The traffic lanes will be shifted so that we can do our work
* This project should last around 9 months
* Work will take place on:
* Weekends: Between 9 PM on Friday night through 5 AM on Monday morning
* Weeknights: Between 7 PM at night until 7 AM in the morning
