King County Metro Transit’s Vehicle Maintenance division is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support the *Supply Chain Management* team as the *Technical Information Processing Specialist* for inventory control and management systems used across the Vehicle Maintenance (VM) Division.

In this role, you will be responsible for organizing  and processing various forms of vehicle maintenance information, preparing detailed reports and summaries, and maintaining associated web-based applications and Enterprise Asset Management systems such as Oracle EBS, M5, and eventually Hexagon EAMS.   This position provides quality assurance, technical support, and critical data management support for the Supply Chain Management team, and contributes to Metro’s overall service speed and reliability by reducing downtime for buses needing repair. Your work in this role will  help support our team’s efforts  in ensuring effective maintenance and repairs, contributing to the operational efficiency and responsible use of our resources.

*Recruitment information:* This recruitment process will fill one (1) career service position in the Vehicle Maintenance Technical  Information Processing Specialist III-Stores classification for the Supply Chain Management workgroup.  An eligibility list may be created to fill future career service vacancies in the TIPS III-Store classification for this specific workgroup. If created, the eligibility list would be active for up to 12 months and used at the hiring authority's discretion.
