The King County Facilities Management Division (FMD) is looking to hire experienced professional *Security Officers* to join their security team. The Security Management team provides physical building security, building access and control, operates an emergency dispatch center, manages lost and found processes, and offers an after-hours employee escort program.
 
 *IMPORTANT:**
 *


* King County FMD Security is a *24-hour operation,* and *presence may be required at any King County facility*.
* Security officers will be *required to work a varied schedule* including 8-hour and/or 10-hour shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
* Security officers are *required to report to a variety locations *throughout King County for business and training needs.
* Term-Limited Temporary positions are "at will" but are full-time and eligible for comprehensive benefits. TLT positions may be eligible for retirement benefits. This TLT position is currently approved to last 12 months with the possibility of extending based on business and operational needs.
* This recruitment will be used to fill multiple TLT vacancies, and also to create a list of competitive candidates to fill future vacant positions as they become available.
