The City of Bellevue, WA is currently accepting applications for a full-time, regular status Street Maintenance Crew Leader position within the Transportation Department. The Streets Maintenance Crew Leader plays a key role in the maintenance and repair of the City’s Transportation system and its components. The Streets Maintenance Crew Leader will be field operations support helping to develop and refine section policies, procedures, goals, and objectives which reflect the City’s core values. This position works independently and in a team setting to oversee work programs such as concrete, asphalt, traffic control devices/signs, vegetation, sweeping, equipment maintenance & outfitting, snow & ice operations, safety, inspection and construction activities, tree management and responds to emergencies during weather-related events. This position is designed as field operation support Crew Leader, dealing with more of the general field operation as well and supporting all functions of vegetation management and snow & ice, while working closely with the day to day internal support Crew Leader which handles the schedules and oversees all general administrative behind the scenes duties necessary to allow operations to successfully run the maintenance programs for repairing, and maintaining the infrastructure.
