Do you have a passion for coordinating multiple projects across a wide range of departments and locations, interested in shaping the municipal operation business needs for the City of Bellevue?  Aligning timing, funding, business requirements with the leadership stakeholders?

We are looking for a skilled and experienced *Long Range Planner* to join our team. As a *Long Range Planner*, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating strategic planning, programming and pre-design of all municipal operations projects, will coordinate with community development on necessary code and community project needs and, you will manage planning and resources for city-owned municipal facilities, complete short and long-range planning, including functional master plans and feasibility studies, communicate to top management the city’s current and projected space requirements, and make recommendations on present and future space utilization and functional needs.

This position plays a key role in the City’s facility planning process. This work includes evaluating city real estate assets/potential assets for use, redevelopment, acquisition, or disposition, completing staffing and space use projections, and coordinating/consulting with other city departments and internal and external stakeholders. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are critical for this position.

Under the direction of the Long-Range Facilities Planning Manager, the Long-Range Planning Manager performs highly advanced planning and manages multiple high-level projects. Plans and manages complex projects requiring multi-disciplinary city and/or consultant-staffed teams to complete scopes of work, defines deliverables, develops work methods and tasks, sets schedules, monitors progress, and re-scopes projects as required by changing availability of resources and customer needs.
