*Our construction work on the Denny Way Paving Project continues.* We're paving almost 12 blocks of Denny Way to make using Denny Way easier and better for residents and commuters alike. Our work includes asphalt paving, sidewalk upgrades, bus stop changes, new pedestrian ramps, areas of widened sidewalks that shorten crossing distances, new stop bars painted on the street, and new "no turn on red" signs.

*Nighttime Paving Work on Denny Way with Intersection Closures - June 9 and June 10*

*We’re reaching an exciting milestone in the project as we begin laying the new asphalt surface on Denny Way.* Once this section is complete, we will be halfway through the project. This work with require lane closures on Denny Way, but we will keep one lane of traffic open in each direction. We will need to close intersections to complete his work. The closures are shown on the map above and detailed below. 

*Between 5th Ave and Westlake Ave – Eastbound and Westbound Lane Closures * 


* *Night of June 9: *Two eastbound lanes on Denny Way will be closed from 7 PM to 5 AM for paving work. During this time, the intersections at Taylor Ave, Vine St, 6th Ave, Dexter Ave, 8th Ave, Bell St, and 9th Ave will be closed.
* *Night of June 10: *Two westbound lanes on Denny Way will be closed from 7 PM to 5 AM for paving work. Along with this, the intersections at Taylor Ave N, 6th Ave N, Dexter Ave N, and 9th Ave N will be closed.
* *Morning of June 11: *We will place temporary road markings on the new asphalt beginning our work at 4 AM

*What We’re Doing Next Week*

*Construction will continue next week on Denny Way between Dexter Ave and Boren Ave*. Our work will reduce the number of lanes on Denny Way and close some parts of the sidewalk. If you are travelling in the area, watch for changing traffic patterns, and follow any signs that direct you around work zones.

*What You Need to Know About Lane Closures on Denny Way:*

*Denny Way Between Dexter Ave and 9th Ave –" Westbound Lane Closures"*


* *June 7 to June 9*: Two westbound lanes on Denny Way will be closed on Saturday at 7 AM for roadway and sidewalk work and reopened on Monday at 4:30 AM.

*Denny Way Between Westlake Ave and Terry Ave – "Eastbound and Westbound Lane Closure"*


* *June 6*: One westbound lane on Denny Way will be closed between 9 AM to 3 PM for sidewalk work.
* *June 7*: One eastbound lane on Denny Way will be closed from 9 AM to 3 PM for sidewalk work.
* *June 9 to June 11*: One eastbound lane on Denny Way will be closed from 9 AM to 3 PM for sidewalk work. Terry Ave between Lenora and Denny Way will be closed to through traffic from 9 AM to 3 PM.
* *June 14 to June 16: *Two eastbound lanes on Denny Way will be closed on Saturday at 7 AM for roadway work and reopened on Monday at 5 AM.

*Boren Ave Between Fairview Ave and Denny Way – "Temporary Road Closure"*


* *June 11 to June 13: *Boren Ave between Fairview Ave and Denny Way will be closed beginning at 7 AM on June 11 until 3 PM on June 13 for drainage work.
