*The Love Where You Live Project: Community Workshops
*The Love Where You Live Project [ https://www.kenmorewa.gov/our-city/love-where-you-live ] is a year-long community engagement effort to gather broad input from the community on their priorities for the future of Kenmore. The City will be hosting four upcoming community workshops to inspire ideas and collect feedback. 

*Workshop Dates:*


* Tue, February 27 | 6 pm - 7:30 pm | Kenmore Middle School Cafeteria
* Thu, February 29 | 7 pm - 8:30 pm | Kenmore Community Club
* Sat, March 9 | 10 am - 12 pm | The Hangar at Town Square
* Wed, March 13 | 6 pm - 7:30 pm | Moorlands Elementary School Gym

Workshop table topics will include downtown development and the future of Lakepointe. There will also be information tables about other projects and happenings in the city. These workshops are family friendly and open to all ages. Each workshop will have the same format, and we encourage community members to attend as many sessions as they like. **61st Ave NE Sidewalk Closure Due to Erosion
**Due to ongoing erosion issues, the sidewalk on the 18600 block of 61st Ave NE has been temporarily closed. City staff are reviewing the erosion site to determine the best next steps. Because of this immediate precautionary measure, pedestrians will need to use the bike lane to pass the sidewalk closure area. Orange cones have been set up as a safety measure for pedestrians. Please pay attention and slow down if you are traveling in this area.
