The City of Bellevue is holding an virtual information session to introduce a proposed planning initiative that focuses on promoting housing in many of the mixed-use area  (places that allow for combination of housing, office, retail, recreational, etc. uses).

The planning initiative proposes to update and establish land use districts to be consistent with the Future Land Use [ https://bellevuewa.gov/sites/default/files/media/pdf_document/2024/futurelandusekcp_24x32_0.pdf?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ] Map from the recently adopted Comprehensive Plan [ https://bellevuewa.gov/city-government/departments/community-development/planning-initiatives/comprehensive-plan?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ]. Information will be provided on potential topics covered by this planning initiative, the proposed geographic scope, approach to rezones, and general schedule.
