Metro Transit’s Market and Business Development group is hiring a *Project/Program Manager I** *to support its three workgroups and assist in the delivery special projects. The position will require the ability to use data and information to help produce reports and presentations, strong communication skills to engage in cross team coordination and collaboration, good organizational skills to assist in project management, as well as attention to detail while supporting and tracking processes that intersect with procurement and contracting, billing and invoicing, budget development and implementation.  Must demonstrate a commitment to equity and sustainability and promote an equitable, diverse and inclusive work environment.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS
The Market and Business Development (MBD) group integrates transportation demand management (TDM) programming into a robust menu of mobility projects and programs that increase the use of transportation options throughout King County. The Business Programs team manages one of the largest employer transit benefit programs in the country and is focused on rebuilding ridership, as well as increasing participation and access to ORCA Business products among small and priority businesses (including BIPOC, queer and women-owned businesses and companies employing low-wage workers). The Fare Policy team focus is on internal and external coordination, policy development, implementation and evaluation that ensures Metro’s capacity to grow revenue, increase access to ORCA products/services through equitable pricing, and support a fare infrastructure that is built upon a social justice framework.  
This position will work with each of these MBD teams, reporting directly to the MBD supervisor, with the opportunity to build and develop a broad knowledge base and expand upon their PPM toolkit. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and engagement skills, a strategic mindset, be highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to build relationships and help drive projects to completion.
 
This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) *Project/Program Manager I*. In addition, this selection process may be used to generate an eligibility pool for future TLT/SDA vacancies that may occur in this classification within the Mobility Division.
