Paving activities on Southeast 35th Place and Frontage Road will begin as early as October 7

Expect single lane alternating traffic during construction

Grinding the roadway

As early as October 7, crews will grind the roadway to create a flat surface for paving. Grinding is expected to be completed in one day.

During this work, residents may hear increased noise and experience vibrations, and the roadway will be rough and unfinished until paving is complete.

Single lane alternating traffic will be in place along SE 35th Pl and Frontage Rd, and access for residents and vehicles will be maintained.

Paving the roadway

Paving will begin as early as October 16, about one week after grinding is complete. The work is expected to take one day, followed by a few hours of curing time. During paving, residents can expect single lane traffic. Once crews begin paving, they cannot stop or allow cars to drive on the newly paved roadway.
