*Veterans Day in Kenmore - "Thank you, Veterans!"*
November 11 is Veterans Day. City Hall will be closed on Friday, November 10, in observance, and Veterans Day will be recognized at the November 13 City Council meeting [ https://kenmore.civicweb.net/document/233489/ ]. Veterans will be honored with a proclamation and celebration of the new Veterans Memorial Bench at City Hall. All Veterans are invited to attend and be honored at the beginning of the meeting that evening at 7 p.m.

The Kenmore Veterans Day proclamation calls upon the community of Kenmore to join in the celebration by giving honor and recognition to all those who have served and by observing Veterans Day with expressions of gratitude to Veterans and their families. "Thank you to our Veterans!"

*Apply to Join the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Advisory Committee
*The Kenmore Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Advisory Committee is recruiting to fill one vacancy for a one-year term beginning January 1, 2024. The Committee’s work involves advocating for and promoting DEIA within the city, advising City staff on DEIA issues, and reviewing the City’s progress on implementing the DEIA Strategic Plan [ https://www.kenmorewa.gov/home/showdocument?id=2827&t=638303726333121757 ]. The Committee is made up of members who either live or work in Kenmore and reflect the city’s diversity. DEIA Advisory Committee members are volunteers, unpaid for their service. *POP! Shop Kenmore Winter Markets Return This Holiday Season

Shop Kenmore Winter Markets [ https://www.kenmorewa.gov/our-city/special-events/pop-shop-kenmore-markets ] are returning to the Hangar in downtown Kenmore for the 2023 holiday season, on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons throughout December. Shoppers looking for that perfect, unique gift should prepare to shop local and support amazing and talented artisans from Kenmore and nearby cities.

"Are you a local craftsperson or artisan looking to sell your handmade products locally?" There are still vendor slots available. If you or someone you know creates and/or curates unique, quality crafts or other gifts, please complete the application on the Pop!
