Are you a skilled senior project manager with a *passion for supporting equitable affordable housing *throughout King County? Do you have experience with affordable housing, capital community development, or real estate transactions? Do you enjoy working collaboratively? Can you move quickly between big picture vision and project-level details? If so, King County’s Housing and Community Development (HCD) Division [ https://kingcounty.gov/legacy/depts/community-human-services/housing.aspx ] of DCHS is looking for you!  We are seeking a skilled *Project/Program Manager (PPM) III* to join our *Housing Finance Program (HFP)* team.  

The Housing Finance Program within DCHS works with partners internal and external to King County to make affordable housing projects a reality through capital and operating/services funding support. Types of projects funded by King County include:


* Permanent housing for people exiting homelessness with supportive services
* Transit-oriented development projects that are affordable to low- and moderate-income households
* Long-term affordable home ownership opportunities
* Equitable, community-driven affordable housing development

The ideal candidate will have *a**ffordable rental housing and/or homeownership development, new construction and/or rehabilitation experience*, skills in* building trusted relationships* with a range of partners including communities of color and demonstrated *success supporting housing for historically marginalized communities*. The central focus of this position is developing and implementing the Housing Finance Program’s Requests for Proposals (RFPs), overseeing the Interim Loan Program and Credit Enhancement Programs, as well as updating HFP policies and procedures. In addition, the PPM III will be *underwriting and actively managing projects* in different phases of development to ensure that they are feasible, on track, and achieve King County’s full spectrum of affordable housing goals. The tangible results of the position’s work are the approximately 10,000 affordable housing units created or preserved in King County.
