Do you have a passion for transportation safety? The City of Bellevue’s Neighborhood Traffic Safety Services (NTSS) group in the Transportation Department is looking for a graduate-level student intern. The intern will work on a variety of projects and tasks including but not limited to advancing work to assess a 20 mph speed limit for local streets in Bellevue and assisting with tasks that arise in the NTSS group.

The ideal candidate is a graduate student and available to work at a minimum through the 2024-2025 school year (and beyond if still a student), part-time when school is in session (12-15 hours a week) and full-time (30-40 hours a week) during summer months and school breaks (if available). Candidates will have strong GIS, analysis, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills and be confident working independently and collaboratively.
