We finished the majority of paving work last night on the east side of the street. However, we need to return tonight to complete some of the connections to the side streets. *Our overnight paving crew will work tonight, Sept. 19 starting at 7 PM to complete the east side paving*. Work will end no later than 5 AM. We appreciate your continued patience and understanding during paving. 

Please be aware that this work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled. 

We'll also continue to work between NE 47th St and NE 67th St over the next several weeks. Read below for information on upcoming work.

* *Sept. 26 overnight work:* Removal of pavement from NE 50th St to NE 43rd St. This work will begin at 7 PM and end at 5 AM.

*Bus Detours on Sept. 19: *

The night of Sept. 19, Metro Routes 67, 73, and 522 will be detoured onto Brooklyn Ave NE between NE 50th Street and NE 66th St. Bus stop from NE 50th St and 11th Ave NE to NE 66th and 12th Ave NE will be closed in this area. Detours will start at 6:30pm and extend until 10 AM the following morning. *Parking Restrictions on Sept. 19: * 

During paving work on Sept. 19, Metro buses will be detoured to Brooklyn Ave NE between NE 50th St and NE 66th St. To accommodate this detour, we are restricting parking on Brooklyn Ave NE between NE 65th St and NE 66th St and on NE 66th St between Brookyln Ave NE and 12th Ave NE (see below image). These restrictions will stay in place until the end of the workday on Friday, Sept. 20.
