The City of Bellevue is currently accepting applications for a regular, full-time *Inventory Specialist I* position in the Operations and Maintenance division of the Utilities Department. The Inventory Specialist I completes general assignments related to receipt, storage and distribution of equipment and supplies utilized for the maintenance and repair of Surface Water, Streets, Water and Wastewater infrastructure. This position orders and receives equipment, materials and supplies from vendors; verifies quantities and quality, enters data into a computer system; completes parts  request from crews by obtaining needed items from inventory or preparing requisitions to order requested parts. Performs daily, weekly and monthly inventory cycle counts.

Employees are expected to perform with some supervision; make decisions necessary to plan, organize and complete work with appropriate efficiency; maintain an organized storeroom and ensure accurate and adequate inventory levels.
