*Seattle – *On Thursday, Mayor Bruce Harrell will share details of new public safety investments included in his 2026 budget proposal.

Mayor Harrell’s proposal will include new investments to expand the CARE Department, add new fire recruits, grow the post-overdose response team, and invest in provider-led public health programs.
