Dear Neighbors,
Starting tonight at 7 PM, we will pave the east side of 11th and 12th Aves NE between NE 50th St and NE 66th St. This work will be noisy and include detours for Metro buses in the area. Read below for more information.
*OVERNIGHT WORK SEPT. 16 & 17*
* On the nights of Monday, Sept. 16 and Tuesday, Sept. 17, we will pave the east side of 11th and 12th Aves NE between NE 50th St and NE 66th St
* Work will start at 7 PM each night and end at 5 AM the following morning. The east side of the street will reopen for vehicles at approx. 10 AM to allow the new pavement to cool.
* Work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled
*DETOURS AND STOP CLOSURES FOR METRO ROUTES 67, 73, & 522*
During this night work, Metro Routes 67, 73, and 522 will be detoured onto Brooklyn Ave NE between NE 50th Street and NE 66th St. Bus stops on 11th and 12th Aves NE between NE 50th St and NE 66th St will be closed. Detours will start at 6:30 PM and extend until 10 AM the following morning. *PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON BROOKLYN AVE NE*
To accommodate the detours of Metro Routes 67, 73, and 522, we are restricting parking on both sides of Brooklyn Ave NE between NE 65th St and NE 66th St and on NE 66th St between Brookyln Ave NE and 12th Ave NE (see below image). These restrictions will stay in place from 7 AM on Monday, Sept. 16 to the end of the work day on Wednesday, Sept. 18.
